REPORT CHILD ABUSE
Family Preservation Worker Program includes the following:
The Family Preservation Program has been set up to provide families with the support they need, through any of the following services: Parenting programs, In-home support, Services for children & youth, Basic 1-1 counseling, Motivation & development strategies, Life skills such as budgeting, cooking, advocacy, linking families with community resources, educational Workshops, Voluntary Support Services
Family Group Conference Program
This program is set up for family and extended family and community members to sit down together to set up a collaborative plan for the child(ren) where it can eliminate involvement of the court system. This benefits all and creates cooperative planning and decision-making and a way of rebuilding a family’s support network

Parenting Program
Delegated Social Workers
Provides support to children in care who reside on and off Haida Gwaii. A support and resource for all Haida Children and Families. The Delegated Generalist Social Workers is available for referrals and consultation. Families can be assessed for a referral to the Family Preservation Worker Program as required
Mental Health Clinician
Mental Health Clinician Alison McDonald is available for confidential counselling services and consultation.
